Jan Čihák is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. His work spans a wide spectrum of applied art, from glass, to fashion and designer jewellery. His work is mainly focused on cast sculptures, and his current work is focused on the processing of waste glass.
He graduated from the Glass and Jewellery Studio at the Technical University of Liberec and now continues his studies in the Glass Atelier at the Faculty of Art and Design at the University of Ústí nad Labem. He completed a study stay at the prestigious ESMOD fashion school in Paris, was nominated for the Stanislav Libensky Award in 2022 and has presented his work at several group and solo exhibitions.
